There’s a lot of studies about NEAT. NEAT covers such things as squirming in your chair, moving around, or fidgeting. It looks like the bigger the NEAT, the bigger the odds are in maintaining healthy weight. I could be reading this wrong, but it looks like if you burn off a lot of calories while doing non-exercise, then you’re less likely to be overweight.
I am definitely going to read more about this, but I thought I’d post it here because I’d never heard of it before.
