From ScienceDaily — “Biomedicine scientists identified and sequenced the genes of a bacteria called Salinispora tropica. It produces anti-cancer compounds and can be found in ocean sediments off the Bahamas. A product called salinosporamide A has shown promise treating a bone marrow cancer called multiple myeloma, as well as solid tumors.”

To me, this is very interesting news, and I hope to hear more of this as a viable treatment for cancer.

I have spent countless hours, trying to find a new theme for this blog. I don’t like this one, but I’m going to leave it up for now, at least till I find something better. Strange thing is, I really miss the butterfly I used to have, but I also feel like its time for a change.
