This isn’t exactly exercise per se. Although, you have to admit that everyone in the video got a fair amount of exercise while it was taped. I thought it was amazing how so many people were able to stay in synch with no mistakes. Then again, I think the participants in the video probably had a lot of time on their hands for rehearsals. I also hope the participants got to see the final results.

I’ve respected Richard Simmons for years. I’m not a big fan of David Letterman, but I know that Simmons goes on his show and they stage a prank or an argument for entertainment. In this video, Simmons is demonstrating one of his new products, but there’s a … malfunction.

I can’t tell if Simmons was in on the gag or not. I tend to believe he knew ahead of time. I don’t fault him for acting surprised because that’s part of the show, right? (Despite this clip, I do think this product would be cool to have. I wonder if a lot of people bought it because of Simmon’s appearance on Letterman?)

I just did a search for “Fitness” on Youtube. I was really surprised at the video with the most views, using that term. As a matter of fact, the counter shows 23,551,641 views, and its been favorited 157354 times. Even though the video was added in July of 2006, people are still commenting on it, someone just left a comment less than a minute ago, so now there are 26851 comments. Overall, I am amazed by the statistics, especially when it’s just a video of four guys exercising on treadmills.

I recently accepted an offer to review MakeoverSolutions.com because I wanted to try out the makeover their site offers. I really want to find a style that I like and something that fits my style and personality. I don’t even mind paying more for a hair cut, as long as it looks how I wanted it to look. But sadly, unless I walk into the salon and show them exactly what I want, my very thick hair usually ends up looking worse than when I went in. I wanted to see if Makeover Solutions could help me with the dilemma I face each and every time I get a hair cut.

Adding my picture to the MakeoverSolutions.com site was very easy. I enjoyed looking at the Makeover Gallery, and I had so much fun trying out different looks, some more ‘unique’ than the others. I doubt I’ll ever have neon blue hair in real life, so I really appreciate the opportunity to see what I’d look like if I ever do get brave enough to try it. I’ve also never considered lightening my dark brown hair, but after trying it on their site, I think I may just go ahead and give it a whirl.

If you look at the line up at the bottom of this post, you’ll see how I was able to try a wide variety of different looks from the comfort of my home. The pictures are kind of lined up in order of my preference, and the last two are my favorites. As a matter of fact, I’m probably going to have my hair done like the last picture on the end because I’m so thrilled about how it looks on me. It frames my face in a stylish way, yet seems very easy to maintain. I would definitely recommend that everyone try MakeoverSolutions.com . Again, this has nothing to do with health, or fitness, it just made me laugh my head off. I can’t believe that there are people out there as dumb as this guy. I wonder what ever happened to him? I wonder if his family ever mentions this video to him? I don’t know what I would do if one of my loved ones was taped doing something criminal and stupid. Can you imagine being this jerk’s mother, brother, or wife? Or worse yet, his child?

I know this has nothing to do with health, but I just have to share this video. This kitten shows a lot of determination, but I can’t tell whether its playing, or bent on total destruction.

This kitten looks a lot like my kitten. I wish I could film her doing cute things, but she always runs and hides just as I make a grab for the camera. Oh well, I guess she’s just camera shy.

I’ve just spent an inordinate amount of time enjoying the pictures and captions at I Can Has Cheezburger. Some of the pictures are the most adorable ones you’ll ever see, and some of the captions will have you laughing so hard that your sides will ache.

I think it’s very beneficial to your health to spend part of your day laughing. If I’m right, then visitors to “Cheezburger” are probably the healthiest people around.

I was ready to laugh at this one, but I actually think its pretty cute. The creators had a good idea, but the adult in the video needs to either lose weight or wear a shirt one size larger. Still and all, it was fun to watch. Btw, the kids are too adorable for words and seem to be having a ton of fun.

Spoiler: I’m sad to report that Frozone does not make an appearance in this clip. But then again, I can kind of understand why.

I stumbled across this fun site that calls itself mentalrobics. On one page, it has a list of common phrases. However, everything is printed backwards so you have to try to identify the words and read them correctly. It’s not too long or too tedious. I had fun giving it a try and didn’t have any problems. I don’t know if I could keep reading backwards for a sustained period of time. Personally, I think its easier to read backwards if you’re left-handed, but I don’t have any proof, just two lefties in one home that can read backwards fairly well.

I found this… umm… interesting video on YouTube. I’ve got to hand it to the Japanese, they seem to be able to add a fascinating dimension to their workout tapes. Perhaps someone in the US needs to borrow this idea, it would probably be a BIG HIT! I know I’m enjoying this little bit of video immensely, but I can’t say its motivated me to do much exercising right now, I’m too busy laughing to do anything else right now.
