I think that taking additional vitamins is a very good idea, but I don’t think a pill will help anyone achieve long term weight loss. However, I don’t think it’s possible for most people to get their RDA just from the foods they eat, and that supplementation is necessary in this day and age.

But what kind of vitamins are necessary and what are just a waste of money? Right now, I take a good multiple, some calcium, and acidophilus for my stomach. Oh, I also take lecithin when I remember because it seems to help with CTS as well as keeping my joints a bit looser. I think I’m going to do more research and find out if there’s anything else I should be taking.


A diet supplement everyone can afford

I’ve come to the realization that water is more important than I ever thought before. I’ve noticed that my acid reflux feels so much better if I am hydrated properly. Although sodas and coffee are mighty tasty, they just don’t seem to affect me positively like good ol’ h2o. I just wish it tasted better, lol. I don’t think there’s much of a taste difference between bottled or tap, it all just tastes the same to me.

Hmmm… I wonder if tea would hydrate as well as water? I think I’ll give that a try for the next few days and see how it works.
